Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

This is a plain-language draft written for WebOps Agent as it launches, not a substitute for review by a lawyer in your jurisdiction. If you're relying on this for a real business, have it reviewed before you rely on it in a dispute.

1. What WebOps Agent does

WebOps Agent lets your team report website issues in plain language and uses an AI agent (Claude, by Anthropic) to classify the report, reproduce bugs, and draft content or price changes. The AI never applies a change directly — every content or price change requires a human with the Manager or Admin role to approve it before it touches your live site.

2. Your account and tenant

Signing up creates a "tenant" — your company's isolated workspace. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for the actions taken by teammates you invite. The account owner (the user who signed up, or anyone they promote to Admin) can invite and remove teammates, connect and disconnect integrations, and delete the tenant entirely.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use WebOps Agent to submit reports about, or connect integrations for, a site or system you don't have the right to test or modify; to attempt to bypass the approval gate described above; or to use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

4. Connected integrations

When you connect WordPress/WooCommerce, Jira, Trello, Asana, or Slack, you're granting WebOps Agent permission to read and (after your approval) write to those systems using the credentials you provide. Those credentials are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect an integration at any time from Settings.

5. AI-generated output

Classifications, bug reproductions, and drafted content/price changes are generated by an AI model and may be wrong. You're responsible for reviewing every proposed change before approving it — that review step exists precisely because AI output isn't guaranteed to be correct.

6. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep WebOps Agent available but don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Features may change as the product evolves; we'll make a reasonable effort to communicate changes that affect how your team works.

7. Termination

You can delete your tenant at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

WebOps Agent is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including changes made to your site after a human approval — the approval step is what makes that change yours, not ours.
